Services for pregnant women
Pregnancy is a period during which taking care of a woman and her health is especially important. In gynaecology, services are provided to pregnant women to ensure a safe and healthy course of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Services provided
During pregnancy, the health insurance company pays for the following services – initial ultrasound after missed menstruation, the 20-week pregnancy scan and the 30-week pregnancy scan, and check-ups with a doctor once every four weeks.
However, the majority of patients wish for the presence of their family members in the surgery, more frequent visits to the doctor than once every four weeks, determination of the sex of the foetus, provision of information by phone or email, and consultation with the treating doctor outside surgery hours. These are all services that are not covered by health insurance companies and are described below and charged according to our price list.
